 UK\n\nDr Perrin’s  research into  Post viral fatigue syndrome AKA CFS 
 /ME began in 1989.  In July 2005 he  received a doctorate from the unive
 rsity of Salford\, UK for his thesis on the involvement of cerebrospinal f
 luid and lymphatic drainage in CFS/ME.\n\nSince 2007\, he has continued po
 st-doc research as Honorary Senior lecturer at the University of Central L
 ancashire\, UK\, and Honorary Clinical Research Fellow in The Faculty of B
 iology\, Medicine &amp\; Health at The University of Manchester. One of th
 e leading medical faculties in the UK.\n\nHe has been a member of the scie
 ntific committee for the World Congress on Neurobiology and Psychopharmaco
 logy and is research director of a national ME research charity.\n\nIn 201
 5 he was the proud winner of the inaugural Research and Practice Award fro
 m the Institute of Osteopathy in the UK\n\nIn a study between 2015-16 he w
 as chief investigator of joint UCLan &amp\; NHS research project: Examinin
 g the accuracy of a physical diagnostic technique for Chronic Fatigue Synd
 rome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis\, REC reference number 12/NW/0877. The resu
 lts were published in the BMJ open in  2017.\n\nIn 2015 he joined the int
 ernational faculty of the German School of Osteopathy.  He has lectured i
 nternationally and in the UK to patient groups and medical professionals o
 n the diagnosis and treatment of CFS/ME and Fibromyalgia/FMS having run wo
 rkshops throughout Europe\, the USA \, South Africa\, Russia and Canada.\n
 \nHe has published CFS/ME research papers in major medical journals and hi
 s first  book\, The Perrin Technique: How to beat CFS/ME was published in
