 LEVEL 2\; Cape Town\; 11-13 April 2025\nCourse times\; Day 1: 8am registra
 tion and the course will start at 8.30 - 4.30 on each day.\nThis Dry Needl
 ing Level 2 course will be accredited in South Africa with 21-24 ceu's.\n[
 /spoiler]\n\n[spoiler title='More Info']\nWhy the Dry Needling level 2 Cou
 rse?\nThe DN level 2 course is the extension of the DN level 1 introductor
 y course and the pre-cursor to certifying as a dry needling practitioner.\
 n\nIt all comes together on the DN2 course starting off with a review of t
 he DN1 course – dry needling principles and practice / safety / physiolo
 gy / pain management / anatomy and no-go-areas and then we review needling
  of the main muscles from the DN1 course while practically assessing your 
 technique.\n\nParticipants are then taught to needle the rest of the bodie
 s muscles (tmj and face\, neck\, hands\, feet\, abdomen and pelvis\, deep 
 calf\, chest and neck) that are not covered on the DN1 course.\n\nDN2 also
  focuses on how to best incorporate dry needling into clinical practice by
  discussing needling for specific clinical conditions including tendinopat
 hies\, arthropathies\, neuropathies and DN in sports. Each clinical condit
 ion is discussed according to symptom presentation\, differential diagnosi
 s\, identification of primary\, secondary\, satellite\, associated and lat
 ent trigger points\, and when / how to needle in association with other tr
 eatment techniques / training / competition / rehabilitation programmes.\n
 \nClinical conditions discussed include rotator cuff pathology\, headaches
  and migraines\, plantar fasciitis\, patella and achilles tendinitis\, ten
 nis elbow\, sciatica and piriformis syndrome\, pelvic pain and muscle inju
 ries.\n\nDN2 will also include a live patient demonstrating assessment and
  treating in accordance with DN principles and techniques.\n\nPre-requisit
 es for attending the DN Level 2 course\; completion of the DN Level 1 cour
 se. the level 2 course includes a practical assessment exam which forms pa
 rt of the dry needling practitioner certification process.\n\nThe online t
 heory exam can be taken and completed after the DN2 course to certify as a

 nd acupuncturists) for whom dry needling is within your scope of practice 
 and you are legally permitted to needle in your registered country / state
 . No minimum dry needling or previous acupuncture experience required but 
 presumed anatomy\, advanced palpation skills and clinical expertise is exp
 ected due to the advanced nature and in-depth structure of our DN courses.
  Professional indemnity insurance as per your professional body is also a 
 pre-requisite.\nSome sports / rehab / massage therapists can apply subject
