SUMMARY:INSTRUMENT ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION (IASTM) COURSE\; Ankar
a\, Turkey
DESCRIPTION:
\nIASTM
 COURSE\; Ankara\, Turkey\; 5-6 September 2020Pavlos Angelopoulos\nCourse
times : 9am – 5pm days 1 &amp\; 2.\n\n
\n\n[spoiler title='More
Info']\n\nClick here to watch the video.\n\nCourse material\n\nEducate yo
urself from the best IASTM instructors\n\nStep 1: Effectively evaluate sof
t tissue malfunctions  with ERGON® Technique scanning procedure (ETSP).
Extend your diagnostic assessment capabilities with ERGON Tools.\n\nStep
2: Learn the 15 basic and 8 Advanced ERGON® IASTM Technique Strokes.\n\n
Step 3: Learn how to use ERGON® Technique Method in 37 labs to treat al
l musculoskeletal pathologies and injuries.\n\nStep 4: Apply ERGON Techniq
ue in your clinical practice.\n\nΕRGON® Τechnique is a novel therapeuti
c approach combining static and dynamic manipulations  of  the body’s
soft  tissue  with special clinical equipment  for  the  treatment
of neuro-musculoskeletal pathologies. The technique derives its name fro
m the ancient Greek word "ergon"\, which means "the product of a man’s w
ork\, be it manual or mental\, scientific or artistic".\n\nΕRGON® Τechn
ique is an innovative development of older approaches (IASTM technique\,
GRASTON technique\, Tools assisted massage technique etc.) and is based on
the myofascial meridians theory as first described by Thomas Myers and Id
a Rolf. The ΕRGON® Soft Tissue Τechniques are applied on specific point
s of tissue restrictions and fascial adhessions along the fascial meridian
s\; when these are released\, functionality improves within a few treatmen
t sessions.\n\nERGON TECHNIQUE is taught through a two-level educational p
rogramme\, basic and advanced\, on a 2-day course. 200 pages of training m
anuals for each level include both theoretical and clinical parts as well
as the presentation of the method in more than 250 photos.\n\nERGON® IAST
M Technique includes specific therapeutic strokes for the diagnosis and tr
eatment of musculoskeletal system disorders which the physical therapist p
erforms using specially designed stainless steel tools – the ERGON®Tool
s.\n\nThere are three ERGON® Tools (ERGON® I\, II and ΙΙΙ) designed a
nd manufactured in an innovative way to facilitate the application of ERGO
N® IASTM Technique. The design innovations of ERGON® Tools include fully
ergonomic design\, multi-functionality and facilitation of innovative gri
ps and therapeutic applications.\n\nERGON TECHNIQUE is constantly developi
ng through targeted research in collaboration with the Technological Educa
tional Institute of Western Greece\, the European University of Cyprus and
the National Sports Academy Vasil Levski\, Faculty of Physiotherapy\, Sof
ia\, Bulgaria.\nERGON TECHNIQUE is an evidence based IASTM method\nERGON T
ECHNIQUE is referenced in many physiotherapy books\, as well as high quali
ty research protocols.\nWhy become an ERGON TECHNIQUE certified therapist?
\nAfter your two-day training in the technique and its applications you wi
ll be able to:\n\n Assess potential fascial dysfunctions\,\n Approach\,
in a therapeutic manner\, areas than cannot be easily reached by human fin
gers\,\n Intervene on stiff tissue and restore elasticity of connective a
nd muscle tissues\n Reduce muscle tension\, spasm and pain\,\n Restore t
he joint range of motion within the space of a few treatment sessions\,\n
Produce controlled and targeted re-injury in cases of overuse injuries\,\
n Accelerate tissue healing by activating fibroblasts\,\n Treat the majo
rity of musculoskeletal and sports injuries\,\n Apply functional rehabili
tation techniques and combined techniques\,\n mobilize oedemas and hemato
mas resulting from sports injuries\,\n improve blood and lymph flow\,\n
align healing tissues\,\n apply cross friction therapy on tendinopathies
and other chronic injuries\n “Release” cross-links between connective
tissues\,\n Stimulate anabolic processes in connective tissues (collagen
fibres)\,\n Increase skin temperature\,\n Facilitate reflex changes in
chronically incorrect muscle activation patterns\,\n Improve myotatic ref
lex and neuromuscular control\,\n Increase tension produced in one or mor
e joints\,\n Improve lymph flow and venous return\,\n Increase histamine
response (after mast cell action)\,\n Reduce pain and muscle spasm throu
gh neurophysiological adaptations\n Restore biomechanical function of joi
nts through release of fascial restrictions and adhesions.\n\nWith ERGON T
ECHNIQUE you will be able to effectively treat the majority of musculoskel
etal injuries and pathologies like\n\n Tendinopathies\n Shoulder Joint t
endinopathies (Supraspinatus tendinopathies)\n Tennis-golfers elbow\n Ha
nd Tendinopathies (DeQuervain)\n Achiles Tendinopathies\n Pes anserinus
tendinopathies\n Iliotibial band friction\n Knee tendinopathies (jumpers
 knee)\n Plantar fasciitis\n Muscle strains (subacute/chronic stage)\n
Ligament sprains (remodeling phase) \n ROM deficits (frozen shoulder\, po
st surgical adhesions\, dupuytren syndrome)\n Myofascial Trigger Points
– Muscle spasms –Pain syndromes\n Shin Splints\n Upper and lower ext
remities bursitis Cervical pain syndromes

                                 Thoracic p
ain syndromes

                    Low-back pain –sciatica

Nerve injuries (Carpal tunnel syndrome etc)\n Chronic injur
ies and pathologies (Arthritis\, patellofemoral syndromes\, osteitis pubis
etc)\n\nΕRGON® Technique is an important therapeutic approach for the r
ehabilitation of major sports injuries as with the ERGON® clinical tools
the physical therapist can :\n\n mobilize oedemas and hematomas resulting
from sports injuries\n improve blood and lymph flow\n align healing tis
sues\n apply cross friction therapy on tendinopathies and other chronic i
njuries\n reduce muscle tension and spasm\n accelerate healing\n increa
se range of motion post surgery\n\nFor more information about ERGON Techni
que\, click here. \n\nA Club Physio ERGON IASTM TECHNIQUE course include
s: • All supplies needed for the course as tools\, emollients\, tissues
 • Coloured and illustrated course manual • Tea\, Coffee and Lunch on
each day • Certificate of attendance in a digital form • One free prem
