SUMMARY:INSTRUMENT ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION COURSE \; Dublin\, Ire
land
DESCRIPTION:
\nIASTM
 COURSE\; Dublin\, Ireland\; 20-21 October 2018\nCourse times : 9am – 5p
m days 1 &amp\; 2.\n\n
\n\n
\n\nClick h
ere to watch the video.\n\nCourse material\n\nEducate yourself from the be
st IASTM instructors\n\nStep 1: Effectively evaluate soft tissue malfuncti
ons  with ERGON® Technique scanning procedure (ETSP). Extend your diagn
ostic assessment capabilities with ERGON Tools.\n\nStep 2: Learn the 15 ba
sic and 8 Advanced ERGON® IASTM Technique Strokes.\n\nStep 3: Learn how
to use ERGON® Technique Method in 37 labs to treat all musculoskeletal
pathologies and injuries.\n\nStep 4: Apply ERGON Technique in your clinica
l practice.\n\nΕRGON® Τechnique is a novel therapeutic approach combini
ng static and dynamic manipulations  of  the body’s  soft  tissue
with special clinical equipment  for  the  treatment of neuro-musculos
keletal pathologies. The technique derives its name from the ancient Greek
word "ergon"\, which means "the product of a man’s work\, be it manual
or mental\, scientific or artistic".\n\nΕRGON® Τechnique is an innovati
ve development of older approaches (IASTM technique\, GRASTON technique\,
Tools assisted massage technique etc.) and is based on the myofascial mer
idians theory as first described by Thomas Myers and Ida Rolf. The ΕRGON
® Soft Tissue Τechniques are applied on specific points of tissue restri
ctions and fascial adhessions along the fascial meridians\; when these are
released\, functionality improves within a few treatment sessions.\n\nERG
ON TECHNIQUE is taught through a two-level educational programme\, basic a
nd advanced\, on a 2-day course. 200 pages of training manuals for each le
vel include both theoretical and clinical parts as well as the presentatio
n of the method in more than 250 photos.\n\nERGON® IASTM Technique includ
es specific therapeutic strokes for the diagnosis and treatment of musculo
skeletal system disorders which the physical therapist performs using spec
ially designed stainless steel tools – the ERGON®Tools.\n\nThere are th
ree ERGON® Tools (ERGON® I\, II and ΙΙΙ) designed and manufactured in
an innovative way to facilitate the application of ERGON® IASTM Techniqu
e. The design innovations of ERGON® Tools include fully ergonomic design\
, multi-functionality and facilitation of innovative grips and therapeutic
applications.\n\nERGON TECHNIQUE is constantly developing through targete
d research in collaboration with the Technological Educational Institute o
f Western Greece\, the European University of Cyprus and the National Spor
ts Academy Vasil Levski\, Faculty of Physiotherapy\, Sofia\, Bulgaria.\nER
GON TECHNIQUE is an evidence based IASTM method\nERGON TECHNIQUE is refere
nced in many physiotherapy books\, as well as high quality research protoc
ols.\nWhy become an ERGON TECHNIQUE certified therapist?\nAfter your two-d
ay training in the technique and its applications you will be able to:\n\n
 Assess potential fascial dysfunctions\,\n Approach\, in a therapeutic m
anner\, areas than cannot be easily reached by human fingers\,\n Interven
e on stiff tissue and restore elasticity of connective and muscle tissues\
n Reduce muscle tension\, spasm and pain\,\n Restore the joint range of
motion within the space of a few treatment sessions\,\n Produce controlle
d and targeted re-injury in cases of overuse injuries\,\n Accelerate tiss
ue healing by activating fibroblasts\,\n Treat the majority of musculoske
letal and sports injuries\,\n Apply functional rehabilitation techniques
and combined techniques\,\n mobilize oedemas and hematomas resulting from
sports injuries\,\n improve blood and lymph flow\,\n align healing tiss
ues\,\n apply cross friction therapy on tendinopathies and other chronic
injuries\n “Release” cross-links between connective tissues\,\n Stim
ulate anabolic processes in connective tissues (collagen fibres)\,\n Incr
ease skin temperature\,\n Facilitate reflex changes in chronically incorr
ect muscle activation patterns\,\n Improve myotatic reflex and neuromuscu
lar control\,\n Increase tension produced in one or more joints\,\n Impr
ove lymph flow and venous return\,\n Increase histamine response (after m
ast cell action)\,\n Reduce pain and muscle spasm through neurophysiologi
cal adaptations\n Restore biomechanical function of joints through releas
e of fascial restrictions and adhesions.\n\nWith ERGON TECHNIQUE you will
be able to effectively treat the majority of musculoskeletal injuries and
pathologies like\n\n Tendinopathies\n Shoulder Joint tendinopathies (Sup
raspinatus tendinopathies)\n Tennis-golfers elbow\n Hand Tendinopathies
(DeQuervain)\n Achiles Tendinopathies\n Pes anserinus tendinopathies\n
Iliotibial band friction\n Knee tendinopathies (jumpers knee)\n Plantar
fasciitis\n Muscle strains (subacute/chronic stage)\n Ligament sprains (
remodeling phase) \n ROM deficits (frozen shoulder\, post surgical adhesi
ons\, dupuytren syndrome)\n Myofascial Trigger Points – Muscle spasms
–Pain syndromes\n Shin Splints\n Upper and lower extremities bursitis
Cervical pain syndromes

                        Thoracic pain syndromes

           Low-back pain –sciatica

                                    Nerv
e injuries (Carpal tunnel syndrome etc)\n Chronic injuries and pathologie
s (Arthritis\, patellofemoral syndromes\, osteitis pubis etc)\n\nΕRGON®
Technique is an important therapeutic approach for the rehabilitation of m
ajor sports injuries as with the ERGON® clinical tools the physical thera
pist can :\n\n mobilize oedemas and hematomas resulting from sports injur
ies\n improve blood and lymph flow\n align healing tissues\n apply cros
s friction therapy on tendinopathies and other chronic injuries\n reduce
muscle tension and spasm\n accelerate healing\n increase range of motion
post surgery\n\nFor more information about ERGON Technique\, click here.
