SUMMARY:NEUROLYMPHATIC DISORDERS AND THE PERRIN TECHNIQUE - A New Manual Th
erapy for ME/CFS\, Fibromyalgia (FMS) and Long-COVID - an online course wi
th Dr Raymond Perrin
DESCRIPTION:
\nNEUROLYMPHATIC DISORDE
RS AND THE PERRIN TECHNIQUE - A New Manual Therapy for ME/CFS\, Fibromyalg
ia (FMS) and Long-COVID - an online with Dr Raymond Perrin\; 2nd Nov 2024\
n\nCourse times :11am - 2pm SA times / 9am - 12noon UK time for session 1
and 3-6pm SA time / 1-4pm UK time for session 2. As ray will be presenting
from the UK with a 2 hour times difference.\n\nTestimonial from previous
attendee and Perrin Technique certified practitioner\;\nI trained with Dr
Perrin in 2017. The Perrin Technique which incorporates lymphatic drainage
and spinal mobility as well as a holistic wellness approach has been a su
ccessful tool for treating ME/Chronic Fatigue and fibromyalgia. I was able
to diagnose and treat my own 16 year old daughter who managed to pass mat
ric the following year. The Perrin Technique gives patients back their liv
es often after years of being labeled as malingering\, lazy or depressed.\

HATIC DISORDERS - A New Manual Therapy for ME/CFS\, Fibromyalgia (FMS) and
Long-COVID - an online course with award winning Osteopath Dr Raymond Per
rin.\nManchester based osteopath and neuroscientist Dr Raymond Perrin DO P
hD won the Research and Practice Award given by the Institute of Osteopath
y in their first ever national awards ceremony held at their Annual conven
tion in Egham\, Surrey\, Nov 2016. Dr Perrin was the recipient of the awar
d given for his 26 years research into the physical diagnosis and treatmen
t of CFS/ME and fibromyalgia which is now the subject of a new NHS researc
h trial at Wrightington Hospital in Cheshire.\n\nUS scientists finally hav
e shown neurolymphatic drainage in human brains. The Perrin technique is s
till the only research based\, tried and tested treatment for a disturbed
neurolymphatic drainage system and had been used successfully for 28 years
. Learn this technique online on 1st Nov and in person in 2025 with the de
veloper of this treatment and diagnostic protocol Dr Ray Perrin.\n\nHot of
f the press - https://www.nih.gov/news-events/news-releases/nih-researche
rs-uncover-drain-pipes-our-brains.\n\nThis workshop will include the anato
mical and physiological background to Dr Perrin's method of diagnosis and
treatment of CFS/ME incorporating hands-on examinations of patients and pr
actical demonstrations of diagnosis and manual therapy treatments.\n\nThe
practitioner will be trained to a level proficient enough to manage CFS/ME
patients in their practice.\n\nLearn to understand and treat long-Covid\,
 fibromyalgia\, chronic fatigue\, ME\, Alzheimers and Parkinsons.\n\nMaste
r the neuro-lymphatic (glymphatic) system and its disorders – including
the pathogenesis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (
CFS/ME)\, fibromyalgia and Long COVID\, physical symptoms and diagnostic s
igns.\n\nBoth courses are of relevance to practitioners who wish to learn
in detail about the lymphatic system\, the causes of pathology in this sys
tem and relevant treatments and contraindications. It will be of particula
r interest to practitioners interested in the research by Dr Raymond Perri
n into CFSME\, fibromyalgia and long-Covid and the treatment of these cond
itions using the various lymphatic techniques discussed over duration of t
he course.\n\nMORE COURSE INFO......\n\nUnderstand the pathogenesis of lym
phatic disorders from a biomechanical perspective. Gain an understanding o
f how to integrate the evidence-based medicine discussed in the workshop i
nto better patient care in all realms of clinical practice.\n\nThe Perrin
Technique™ is based on Dr Perrin's theory that different stress factors\
, whether physical\, allergenic\, emotional or infectious lead to an over-
strain of the sympathetic nervous system with a resultant build up of toxi
ns in the fluid around the brain and the spinal cord. Some of the poisons
caused by infection or inflammation in the head or spine flow through perf
orations in the cribriform plate just above the nasal sinuses into the lym
ph ducts of the face and neck. The toxins are also meant to drain down the
spinal cord and out into the lymph ducts lying along the spine. In a CFS/
ME sufferer these normal drainage points are congested.\n\nDr Perrin has d
iscovered definite physical signs common to all CFS/ME sufferers and has t
hus developed a physical examination with a definite diagnosis and a manua
l treatment technique that stimulates the fluid motion around the brain an
d spinal cord whereby eventually the sympathetic nervous system begins to
function correctly and patient symptoms improve.\n\nThis brand new course
in South Africa is a must for all physios\, chiros\, osteos and manual the
rapists who want to add manual therapy techniques to treat patients who su
ffer from ME / CFS.\n\nAll practitioners should have a basic working knowl
edge of cranio-sacral techniques (but this is not absolute) and having han
ds on clinical experience of at least a year in practice is also helpful.\
n\nThe planned 2 day workshop is accredited in the UK with CPD from the Ge
neral Osteopathic Council and has received accreditation for 13 hrs CME in
the USA with the AOA and 21 Ceu's being applied for in South Africa in 20
13.\n\nIt fulfils the seven core CME competencies required by the American
 Osteopath Association:\n\n1. Osteopathic Philosophy/Osteopathic Manipulat
ive Medicine – The Perrin Technique is entirely based on the application
and the teaching of knowledge of accepted standards in osteopathic manipu
lative treatment appropriate to the treatment of CFS/ME \, CFIDS and fibro
myalgia. Future planned refresher workshops and newsletters will ensure th
at the practitioners remain updated with the latest developments in the fi
eld of CFS/ME.\n\n2. Medical Knowledge – The workshop will amply demonst
rate and apply knowledge of accepted standards of clinical medicine with t
he other current treatments being examined and discussed.\n\n3. Patient Ca
re – There will be hands on practical teaching of the physical examinati
on and treatment of CFS/ME and fibromyalgia. By the end of the workshop\,
delegates will have been taught and be required to demonstrate the ability
to effectively treat patients and provide medical care that incorporates
the osteopathic philosophy\, patient empathy\, awareness of behavioral iss
ues\, the incorporation of preventive medicine and health promotion.\n\n4.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills – This is so important in the fi
eld of CFS/ME and fibromyalgia. The workshop will show how by explanation
of what we now know to be occurring with this disease interpersonal and co
mmunication skills enable a physician to establish and maintain a much bet
ter professional relationships with patients\, families\, and other member
s of health care teams.\n\n5. Professionalism – The workshop will go thr
ough the case studies of a variety of the hundreds of CFS/ME and fibromyal
gia patients treated by Dr Perrin and will emphasize the practitioner be c
ognizant of physical and mental health in order to effectively care for pa
tients.\n\n6. Practice-Based Learning and Improvement – The entire 2 day
workshop will be dedicated to demonstrate the ability to critically evalu
ate methods of clinical practice\, integrate evidence based medicine into
patient care. The previous and present research trials undertaken by Dr Pe
rrin with leading scientists from some of the top universities in the UK w
ill be discussed.\n\n7. Systems-Based Practice – this is covered in day
2 of the workshop which will be practically based showing the delegates ho
w to provide effective and qualitative patient care practice cost effectiv
e medicine to improve the quality of life in patients with CFS/ME and Fibr
omyalgia.\n\n
\n\n
\n\nThese treatments
have proved highly effective in mitigating the more severe symptoms edure
d by our daughter. We are convinced that Dr Perrin provides the surest ro
ute to a successful outcome.\n\nMr and Mrs A\, Lincolnshire\, UK.\n\nDr Pe
rrin’s treatment alleviates my symptoms and gives me the boost I need to
 live a more or less normal life.\n\nMrs J C.  Huddersfield\, UK\n\nI wou
ld have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Perrin and his work to
 any ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.\n\nMrs L W.  Preston\, UK\n\nDr Perrin
has devoted  the last 25 years of his life to drive forwards his work
to help people who suffer CFS/ME. He is also standard bearer for the osteo
pathic profession in that his research is conjunction with the National
Health Service.\n\nL.B. Registered Osteopath\, County Durham.\n\nI am very
thankful to Raymond and his team for all the help and the support they ha
ve given me and can honestly say without the Perrin Clinic I don.t know w
here I would be today.\n\nMrs K F. Manchester\, UK\n\nBy the time I came
to be treated by Dr Perrin I had been suffering for most of my life. From
the age of five I had been plagued by the symptoms of severe M.E and with
out Dr Perrin’s help I would have been faced with a life of illness and
pain\, if any life at all. I owe my life to Dr Perrin and the treatment he
 created.\n\nMrs J B Lancashire\, UK\n\n
\n\n[spoiler title='Ho
