 critical ill patients and has done her Master Degree at the University of

 ican Society of Physiotherapy and the past President of the International 
 Private Physical Therapy Association (IPPTA)\, the official subgroup from

 ourse objective:\nThere is a need in the health sector for ongoing rehabil
 itation of critically ill patients post discharge from the hospital. Often
  these patients are discharged while they still present with physical func
 tion deficits and are left without any guidance on how to regain their nor
 mal functional status. The objective of this course is to empower physioth
 erapist with evidence-based knowledge to be able to rehabilitated safely t
 hese patients to return to work and life.\n\nCourse description.\nResearch
  has showed that critical ill patients may take months or even years to fu
 ll regain their pre-admission functional status. This often cause addition
 al strain on the patients\, their families\, their finances\, and the heal
 th care system. Physiotherapists\, as the experts in rehabilitation are un
 iquely position to assist these patients with a personalised rehabilitatio
 n program\, to enable them to return to their work and life as soon as pos
 sible.\n\nPhysiotherapists who do have a passion to empower this cohort of
