 ymphatic disorders - the SLYM and the Glymphatics with Dr Ray Perrin - via

 reating post traumatic head injuries or any neurological disorders.\n\nThi
 s 3hr lecture will focus on this year’s major discovery  of a fourth men
 ingeal layer that compartmentalizes the subarachnoid space in the human br
 ain\, which has been named the subarachnoid lymphatic-like membrane (SLYM)
 . This membrane provides a barrier to macromolecules of the cerebrospinal 
 fluid (CSF) in the outer layer. The inner subarachnoid space guides health
 y CSF along the penetrating arterioles into the brain parenchyma preventin
 g inflammatory toxins and cytokines from entering the central nervous syst
 em. \n\nDr Perrin will discuss how physical trauma to the cranium and spin
 e and inflammation in this region could potentially lead to the rupture of
  the SLYM which is only one cell wide. By altering CSF flow patterns\, thi
 s could lead to the prolonged disturbance of the glymphatic system leading
  to disorders like ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia and possibly many more neurolog
 ical diseases.\n\nManual Diagnosis and Treatment of these disorders will b
