 spoiler title='More Info']\nThe Fascial Therapy 1 Course\nThe Fascial Ther
apy 1 course is designed to introduce the beginner as well as the experien
ced practitioner to a broad spectrum of myofascial releasing methods that
encompass all soft-tissue.\n\nFascia is the form that encases and surround
s all soft-tissue\, creating compartments\, containers and scaffolding to
anchor tissue. With this understanding\, basic applied methods can be adap
ted and applied to this form to create efficient rapid change.\n\nFascial
Therapy introduces direct and indirect methods employing active and passiv
e techniques that utilize sensory receptor activation\, understanding the
autonomic system response that results in the application of these various
techniques.\n\nEmphasis is placed upon assessment patterns through fundam
ental palpation of lines of myofascial tension. These include cardinal lin
es\; anterior\, posterior and lateral\, as well as four arm line (Myers) a
re palpated and then technique applied. These line have areas that are not
usually palpated\, and it is these areas (intermuscular septums for examp
le) that often result in not achieving the desired clinical outcomes for a
practitioner.\n\nUnderstanding the importance of presence and intent as c
linical ‘tools’.\n\nUnderstanding the response and importance of the a
utonomic nervous system in relation to systemic discharges and soft-tissue
release.\n\nInstructed is the use of ‘ease-bind’ osteopathic assessme
nt protocol for clinical decision-making\, palpation and technique.\n\nFoc
us is also placed on joint accessory motion and the important interface wi
th myofascial.\n\nThus joint leverage compression and tension techniques a
re introduced that allow for rapid change to the surrounding capsular tiss
ue.\n\nLigament technique options as well as locations of application are
instructed.\n\nIndirect application in the form of the ‘Two Point’ is
instructed and protocol to release transverse planes are practiced. Within
this protocol anterior neck muscles\, supra and infra-hyoid muscles will
be palpated and treated.\n\nAnd integrated into this system of bodywork is
the use of modified Muscle Energy Technique MET\, used to treat ‘bind
’ directional barriers\, enhance receptor response and assess muscular i
nhibition.\n\nThe last module will be a clinical practice session\, where
clients\, friends or family are invited so as to experience the instructio
n and new skills acquired by participants. This is also a time to instruct
more complexity and showcase material for Fascial Therapy 2.\n\nBy the co
mpletion of this course\, the practitioner will have a new way of clinical
thought\, have new application skills that use much less force and effort
to achieve desirable effects\, reducing pain sensitivity usually experien
ce by more forceful applications.\n\nDay 1 Direct Applications to Myofasci
a: Theory and Practice\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDay 2 Indirect Applications for Soft-
Tissue\n\nDay 3 Applications for the Thorax and Shoulder\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDay
  4 Shoulder Region Completion\, Horizontal/Vertical Humeral Compression/Te
nsion Levering and Clinic Module\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n[/spoiler]\n\n[spoiler titl
