SUMMARY:THE FASCIAL THERAPY COURSE\; Bethlehem\, Palestine - Course postpon

DESCRIPTION:
\nTHE FASCIAL THERAPY CO
URSE\; The Diamond Hotel\, St Antonio Society Street\, Bethlehem - Course
postponed to later in 2020 due to Corona virus \, Palestine\; 17-20 April
 2020 \nCourse times : 9 am - 5 pm on 4 days\n
\n\n[spoiler titl
e='More Info']\nThe Fascial Therapy 1 Course\nThe Fascial Therapy 1 course
is designed to introduce the beginner as well as the experienced practiti
oner to a broad spectrum of myofascial releasing methods that encompass al
l soft-tissue.\n\nTo view Steven Goldstein at work click on the videos bel
ow\;\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbYoqTCX6Fo\n\nhttps://www.youtube
.com/watch?v=Q-PBCw6NSKA&amp\;t=49s\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJ6
pdi0KRYs&amp\;t=52s\n\nFascia is the form that encases and surrounds all s
oft-tissue\, creating compartments\, containers and scaffolding to anchor
tissue. With this understanding\, basic applied methods can be adapted and
applied to this form to create efficient rapid change.\n\nFascial Therapy
introduces direct and indirect methods employing active and passive techn
iques that utilize sensory receptor activation\, understanding the autonom
ic system response that results in the application of these various techni
ques.\n\nEmphasis is placed upon assessment patterns through fundamental p
alpation of lines of myofascial tension. These include cardinal lines\; an
terior\, posterior and lateral\, as well as four arm line (Myers) are palp
ated and then technique applied. These line have areas that are not usuall
y palpated\, and it is these areas (intermuscular septums for example) tha
t often result in not achieving the desired clinical outcomes for a practi
tioner.\n\nUnderstanding the importance of presence and intent as clinical
‘tools’.\nUnderstanding the response and importance of the autonomic
nervous system in relation to systemic discharges and soft-tissue release.
\nInstructed is the use of ‘ease-bind’ osteopathic assessment protocol
for clinical decision-making\, palpation and technique.\n\nFocus is also
placed on joint accessory motion and the important interface with myofasci
al.\nThus joint leverage compression and tension techniques are introduced
that allow for rapid change to the surrounding capsular tissue.\n\nLigame
nt technique options as well as locations of application are instructed.\n
Indirect application in the form of the ‘Two Point’ is instructed and
protocol to release transverse planes are practiced. Within this protocol
anterior neck muscles\, supra and infra-hyoid muscles will be palpated and
treated.\n\nAnd integrated into this system of bodywork is the use of mod
ified Muscle Energy Technique MET\, used to treat ‘bind’ directional b
arriers\, enhance receptor response and assess muscular inhibition.\n\nThe
last module will be a clinical practice session\, where clients\, friends
or family are invited so as to experience the instruction and new skills
acquired by participants. This is also a time to instruct more complexity
and showcase material for Fascial Therapy 2.\n\nBy the completion of this
course\, the practitioner will have a new way of clinical thought\, have n
ew application skills that use much less force and effort to achieve desir
able effects\, reducing pain sensitivity usually experience by more forcef
ul applications.\n\nDay 1 Direct Applications to Myofascia: Theory and Pra
