SUMMARY:THE FASCIAL THERAPY COURSE\; Krakow\, Poland
DESCRIPTION:[spoiler title='Important Information']\nTHE FASCIAL THERAPY CO
 URSE\; Krakow\, Poland\; 18-21 May 2018\nCourse times : 9am - 5pm for all
the four days \nTO BOOK FOR THIS COURSE YOU MUST CONTACT THE LOCAL COURS

 \n[spoiler title='More Info']\nThe Fascial Therapy 1 Course\nThe Fascial T
herapy 1 course is designed to introduce the beginner as well as the exper
ienced practitioner to a broad spectrum of myofascial releasing methods th
at encompass all soft-tissue.\n\nFascia is the form that encases and surro
unds all soft-tissue\, creating compartments\, containers and scaffolding
to anchor tissue. With this understanding\, basic applied methods can be a
dapted and applied to this form to create efficient rapid change.\n\nFasci
al Therapy introduces direct and indirect methods employing active and pas
sive techniques that utilize sensory receptor activation\, understanding t
he autonomic system response that results in the application of these vari
ous techniques.\n\nEmphasis is placed upon assessment patterns through fun
damental palpation of lines of myofascial tension. These include cardinal
lines\; anterior\, posterior and lateral\, as well as four arm line (Myers
) are palpated and then technique applied. These line have areas that are
not usually palpated\, and it is these areas (intermuscular septums for ex
ample) that often result in not achieving the desired clinical outcomes fo
r a practitioner.\n\nUnderstanding the importance of presence and intent a
s clinical ‘tools’.\nUnderstanding the response and importance of the
autonomic nervous system in relation to systemic discharges and soft-tissu
e release.\nInstructed is the use of ‘ease-bind’ osteopathic assessmen
t protocol for clinical decision-making\, palpation and technique.\n\nFocu
s is also placed on joint accessory motion and the important interface wit
h myofascial.\nThus joint leverage compression and tension techniques are
introduced that allow for rapid change to the surrounding capsular tissue.
\n\nLigament technique options as well as locations of application are ins
tructed.\nIndirect application in the form of the ‘Two Point’ is instr
ucted and protocol to release transverse planes are practiced. Within this
protocol anterior neck muscles\, supra and infra-hyoid muscles will be pa
lpated and treated.\n\nAnd integrated into this system of bodywork is the
use of modified Muscle Energy Technique MET\, used to treat ‘bind’ dir
ectional barriers\, enhance receptor response and assess muscular inhibiti
on.\n\nThe last module will be a clinical practice session\, where clients
\, friends or family are invited so as to experience the instruction and n
ew skills acquired by participants. This is also a time to instruct more c
omplexity and showcase material for Fascial Therapy 2.\n\nBy the completio
n of this course\, the practitioner will have a new way of clinical though
t\, have new application skills that use much less force and effort to ach
ieve desirable effects\, reducing pain sensitivity usually experience by m
ore forceful applications.\n\nDay 1 Direct Applications to Myofascia: Theo
