n"David Lintonbon is very well respected in the osteopathic field for his
work. David has been instrumental in teaching students of osteopathy and p
ractitioners of osteopathy in the science (and art) of osteopathic manipul
ative techniques both in the UK and abroad. In this book he uses his exten
sive teaching and clinical experiences to guide the reader through their l
earning and development of ideas and techniques. The book is illustrated t
hroughout with high quality pictures showing technique positions and clear
and understandable descriptions. The book is designed for students of ost
eopathy (but would be equally valuable to student chiropractors and physio
therapists) and should be an essential core book for study. As a teacher o
f osteopathic technique (and a former student of his at The British School
of Osteopathy) I would highly recommend this book to anyone in the field
of osteopathy and manipulative therapies." \nSimon N Chafer B.Sc.(Hons)\,
  B.Ost.\, Pg.Cert.Ed.\, M.Ed.\nSenior lecturer &amp\; clinic tutor\nThe Lo
ndon School of Osteopathy\, UK\n--\n"As a student of the Surrey Institute
of Osteopathic Medicine I was very lucky to have David as one of my techni
que lecturers and clinic tutors in my second year. David's hands-on explan
ation of how each technique helped to relieve certain structural disorders
really helped kinaesthetic learners such as myself. A structural osteopat
hy expert at the top of his game and his &amp\;\;Art of HVT' DVD has helpe
d to remind me of techniques that I may need but have not used in a long t
ime. On top of that\, a genuinely nice bloke who is approachable and takes
the time to listen to your concerns\, everything a good teacher should be
 ."\nMatt Devonport\nOffice Osteopaths\n--\n"A fun\, informative and integr
ated approach to a range of useful techniques. I would highly recommend th
is course to any manual therapist."\nKathryn Dean\nOsteomyologist\n--\n"Gr
eat course and presenter. Explained and demonstrated techniques clearly wi
th continuous feedback throughout. Very practical course\, we would return
to priority componets / techniques throughout the weekend\, allowing time
away to consolidate then readminister newly learnt skills. My patients wi
ll definitely benefit from these more comfortable and localised manipulati
ons of the spine."\nTim Allardyce MSc Physiotherapy\, BSc (Hons) Osteopa
 thy\, MSCP\, HCPC Registered\n--\n"A very practical course\, with a high l
evel of new approaches to conduct the assessment and treatment of the pati
ent. Very impressed. Would recommend to everyone."\nEmiliano Zanier\, DOm
