  title='Course material']\nMORE INFO\nVestibular Rehabilitation (Dizzyness
 ) Course\n\nUsing movement and exercise\, healthcare practitioners (such 
 physios\, bios\, chiros\, osteos\, audiologists and ENT specialists) can 
 effectively treat common causes of dizziness. This intense two day course 
 covers the essentials of physiotherapy vestibular assessment and treatment
 . A strong emphasis is placed on differential diagnosis\, clinical reasoni
 ng and treatment selection. Delegates will be taught to identify signs and
  symptoms that indicate central/sinister pathology. The vestibular rehabil
 itation techniques included in the course have a strong evidence base.\n\n
 The course is suitable for health practitioners with no experience of dizz
 y patients or those wishing to consolidate existing skills.\n\nAims - By t
 he end of the course delegates should be able to:\n\n• Understand basic 
 vestibular anatomy and physiology (semicircular canal orientation+function
  and the vestibulo-ocular reflex in particular)\n• Have an overview of t
 he main vestibular pathologies\n• Take a relevant subjective history inc
 luding vestibular special questions\n• Carry out a clinical oculomotor e
 xamination\n• Clinically assess the VOR (dynamic visual acuity\, infrare
 d video analysis and head thrust test)\n• Clinically evaluate different 
 types of nystagmus (central vs peripheral)\n• Carry out an appropriate o
 utcome-based assessment of balance\n• Do positional testing for BPPV\, i
 nterpret findings and treat using the appropriate manoeuvre (Epley\, Simon
 t and Horizontal canal)\n• Devise\, evaluate and progress a patient-spec
 ific exercise-based rehabilitation programme\n\n[/spoiler]\n\n[spoiler tit
