A full-time post is available for a Physiotherapist in a dynamic, growing multi-site private practice. This post is situated in Paarl, Western Cape, but therapists must be willing to travel to Parow and Bellville on occasion.

This is hospital and sub-acute practice with a OPD that services a wide variety of pathologies from spinal orthopedic to cardiac and neuro. The OPD services people with NMS and neuro rehabilitation needs.

The service consists of inpatient acute and out-patient rehabilitation, home and worksite visits and pain management intervention

The practice exists as part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of physiotherapy, biokinetics, social work, and a variety of medical specialists. The ability to work closely with other medical professionals is therefore essential.

The suitable candidate should be passionate about patient care, service excellence and ethical, evidence-based practice. Willingness to learn and eagerness to improve own knowledge and skills are essential. Understand the landscape of private practice. Excellent report writing skills, administrative management skills and time management skills are required.

Pre-requisites:    B.Sc PT degree

Registration with HPCSA and SASP

At least two to three years’ experience in a sub-acute setting/hospital setting.

Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Driver’s license and own vehicle

Ability to work independently
