Why Dry Needling?

Dry Needling (DN) is a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.

After completing the dry needling level 1 course, participants will be able to take the DN level 2 course and certify as a competent dry needling practitioner.

DN2 completes all the muscles of the body including the deep calf, deep pelvis, deep chest and neck, the TMJ muscles and the abdominals, hands and feet.

DN2 will also focus on needling clinical conditions like radiculopathies, joint dysfunction, disk pathology, tendinopathies, cranio-mandibular dysfunction, headaches and migraines, tension-type headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive strain disorders, whiplash associated injury, pelvic pain, sports injuries and other related conditions.

If you are a soft tissue therapist and DN is in your scope of practice, then is it time for you to learn this amazing new technique to help your patients and clients overcome their pain and dysfunction.

Muscles completed in the dry needling level 1 course include;

Glutes, thigh and lower leg, lumbar and cervical spine, scap-thoracic, rotator cuff, upper arm and forearm.
