Course objective: To provide trainers and medical therapists with the tools to manage the body in golf
The game of golf has seen a mega shift in golf fitness since the mid 1990’s. There is hardly a player on any of the world tours, male or female, that doesn’t employ the services of a fitness and health professional. It’s no longer a competitive advantage to be fit and healthy, it’s the minimum requirement to be on tour.
Power is the name of the game for all players, professional and recreational, and a scientific approach to high performance, playing injury free and increasing longevity in the game requires a thorough understanding of the body – swing connection.
This course will analyse the kinematic sequence of the golf swing and connect the therapist and fitness professionals to what is required to understand, assess, analyse and deliver on what each individual requires to perform at his or her optimum on the golf course.
Today’s golfers need to be convinced that their instructors are up to date with the latest information on the sport.
