We are offering a full-time job for a Sports & Orthopedic Physiotherapist at our Outpatient practice in Garsfontein, Pretoria. The job will only involve out-patient treatments, and there will be no hospital work. Diagnostic Physiotherapy skills are required for this position. This job will provide a great learning and mentoring experience, which will help you expand your clinical expertise and become an exceptional trend-setting physiotherapist.

Role Description

As a medical professional, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients for various conditions related to pain, movement, and tissue damage. This includes developing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and educating patients on injury prevention and management.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
• Must have great clinical reasoning with keen diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
• Experience and knowledge of various physiotherapy techniques and modalities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues
• Experience in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation is desired
• Strong diagnostic skills to properly assess and develop treatment plans for patients
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple patient cases at once
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Rate of pay

Basic Salary with Commission up to 55%. Remuneration depends on your unique skill set. Preference to SPT, OMT, MSK Sonar, Dry Needling Level, Strapping, and experience in an outpatient setting. The remuneration offered depends on your unique skill set.
