Company Description

At Evolve we believe that rehabilitation is not just about "getting better", but rather being better than before. With this philosophy at the heart of our practice we make use of a range of techniques and methods to treat an equally wide range of injuries and issues requiring physiotherapy treatment. Although the primary focus of any treatment is to alleviate symptoms and pain, we are committed to providing the equally important secondary level of treatment that is aimed at reducing the likelihood of re-injury or discomfort. It is our belief that treatment is a two-way street and strive to empower our patients with all the necessary tools and information they need on their road to recovery.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a physiotherapist based in Cape Town. As the physiotherapist at Evolve Physiotherapy, you will provide hands-on treatment to patients suffering from NMS/orthopedic and day-to-day injuries. You will develop customised treatment plans for each patient, which may include exercises, stretches, and manual therapy. You will monitor progress and adjust treatment as necessary to help patients recover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with HPCSA
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good observational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Time-management skills and ability to manage patient records
  • Open to helping with marketing and social media

Having experience working with specific patient demographics, such as post-surgery patients, sports injuries, infant development, elderly care, or stroke rehabilitation, will be useful. A pilates qualification is a bonus.

Please send your CV to sam@evolvephysio.co.za before 10 September 2023 to be considered.
