MORE INFO

This compact two-day course is an updated expansion of Richard’s popular Sporting Knee in 4D course and focuses on a unique and comprehensive approach to treating common lower extremity pain disorders, providing a detailed exploration of the patellofemoral joint (PFJ), the talocrural joint (TCJ), the subtalar joint (STJ), the inferior tibiofibular joint (ITFJ) and the acetabulofemoral joint (AFJ).

The emphasis is on articular, neural, myofascial and vascular integration of therapies and treatments in order to achieve greater and more sustainable results.

The soft tissue techniques shown over the two days will focus on: the capsule (PFJ), retinaculum (PFJ, TCJ), menisci (PFJ), ligaments (PFJ, TCJ), influential tendons (PFJ, TCJ, AFJ), influential muscles (AFJ, PFJ, TCJ), arteries (Femoral, Popliteal, Genicular, Tibial) and major nerves and nerve zones (lumbar plexus, sacral plexus, femoral, saphenous and sciatic).

The course also explores and contextualizes the application of therapeutic exercise and the need for controlled progressive overload of injured tissues in all stages of intervention. Complex and varied case histories are provided with the intention of giving a better understanding of the application of the principals and techniques shown in the course.

Course Duration; 2 Days
