During my time working at Keele Leisure Centre I worked in the capacity of a sports injury Physiotherapist and a Fitness Instructor, gaining vast experience in the field of exercise therapy and sports injuries.

PT Assistant, Hemel Hempstead General Hospital, Hertfordshire

(October 2001 to May 2002)

Throughout my professional career I have gained extensive experience in physiotherapy, in particular musculoskeletal physiotherapy. My working experience and post-graduate training has facilitated the integration of the advanced application of various manual therapy approaches and techniques. I have formal post-graduate MSc level training in:

 Acupuncture
 Maitland approach
 McKenzie approach
 Kaltenbourne approach
 Mulligans NAGS, SNAGS and MWMs
 Neurodynamics
 GD V Manipulations
 Muscle stability and Movement Dysfunction Retraining.  Norwegian Therapy Master System

My time at the above mentioned clinics has given me the opportunity to integrate my post-graduate training into practice through a continuous full caseload of musculoskeletal NHS, Private and Medical -Legal patients. The equipment available has been incredible in aiding my development, including a Norwegian red cord system, electrotherapy modalities and cordless EMG equipment, all of which I am fully conversant with. I am currently associated with a special interest group, the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Exercise Therapy (ACPET) and have been responsible for the care of a large number of sports injury clients. I have completed my MSc in neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy and thus gained full registration with the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). I am a fully qualified Kinetic Control Movement Therapist.
